Lib Dem Vote Collapses

Due to the Lib Dem collapse across Liverpool, Allerton & Hunts Cross is now in real danger of having three Labour councillors representing the ward.
The Liberal Democrat vote share decreased by 33.3% in 2012, whilst the Conservative vote share increased by 17.6%. Local residents are now seeing the hard work by the local Conservative team and are realising that the Liberal Democrats are no longer able to stand up for Allerton & Hunts Cross residents.
After a number of high-profile defections to Labour across South Liverpool, the Conservatives are now the only credible opposition to Labour in Allerton & Hunts Cross.
