The Conservative local election campaign was launched yesterday by local candidates and supporters with the help of Employment Minister Chris Grayling MP and Mayoral Candidate Tony Caldeira.
The Conservative’s election priorities this year are:
* Creating Jobs and Growth
* Cutting Crime
* Improving Council Services and Freezing Council Tax
* Improving Basic Services to create a Cleaner, Greener, Safer Liverpool
Commenting on the news, Chairman of the City of Liverpool Conservatives, Hannah Withey said.
“The full slate of candidates is another example of the mini-revival of the Conservative Party in Liverpool following the 50% increase in the Conservative vote across the city at the general election in 2010.”
“I’m delighted that everyone in Liverpool will have a chance to vote Conservative in this year’s local elections and hope we can make a breakthrough on 3rd May.”
