Campaign update: May - September

Since the Local Elections in May 2011 which saw the collapse of the Lib Dems in Liverpool, the City of Liverpool Conservatives have remained busy issuing a survey to gauge local opinion and views within the city. We are now in the process of reviewing the responses and determining any appropriate action. Our spokesman within Woolton and Gateacre also holds regular surgeries to meet local people and find out their views and concerns. Liverpool Lib Dems Wave The White Flag

In a recent interview on BBC Radio 4's "Today" Programme, Liverpool Liberal Democrat Leader Cllr Warren Bradley surprised listeners by admitting that his Party was losing support in the city.

£1M to Fix Liverpool Pot Holes

Conservative Chancellor George Osborne recently announced a doubling in funding for councils to repair pot holes, from £100m to £200m. The extra money has come from savings made by the Department of Transport.
